Since I started using this product, we have been more successful at nipping respiratory infections before they settle in his chest. There would be times when he had runny nose, even coughing, but no wheeze. When he came down with HFMD, I thought I heard the tiniest wheeze in his chest, but it went away quickly. He did not get ulcers in his mouth. I missed a week of work while he ran around the house and played, feeling absolutely fine. Purified water, Vegetable-source glycerine, Natural Raspberry Flavor, Ascorbic acid, Citric acid" My suspicion is that the various fruit based acids are all the preservatives that are needed.
