I sweat a lot and there appears to be a saturation point where it becomes fully saturated so it will then get a hat wet from sweat if wearing one. It should not be covered up since it breathes due to the semi-porous material. Similarly, I would think that it would be okay to wear for sleeping (I never thought of that and may try that myself now since I always sleep with a pillow over my head) but if you sweat a lot, it is semi-porous as mentioned and breathable so it may get the pillow or bed wet eventually unless you don't have your head covered like me. I belive the 0.2 is for the dri weat portion in front and then the rest is like a mesh dry weave.
