Very light weight. I hung them on the outside of my barn, and had to modify hanging process. Hangers are flexible enough to get creative if required. They make a bright flash when twisting in the sunlight. I hung one inside the barn. It isn't as effective without sunlight, but I suspect twisting motion might scare birds away.
