Or should I fuse instead.?** A: Remember 2/0 Copper Wire is rated up to 170 Amps. Installing a 200A breaker risks the chance of the wire overheating and causing a fire. **Q: Would this 40amp be suitable for connecting my new 4000w generator to the main switchboard?** A: No! This is a DC rated breaker if your generator makes AC power which I suspect it does you need a traditional AC breaker. **Q: why there is more than 10% voltage drop in the Circuit Breaker ?** A: If you're measuring 10% voltage drop across this breaker you have something wrong going on. Because of this the chemicals I use are highly corrosive in their pure form before blending for use. I do have to replace this once a year.
