In their video, they don’t touch the ground.** A: I believe they're designed for when the car is going over ground elevation changes, such as a bump from street level to driveway (like an inch jump in elevation). They also touch when going over speed bumps in our community. So maybe they make it easier to keep the cars momentum consistent when going over bumpy terrain? On the inside there was brown packing paper to insulate the plasma car during its travels. Once it arrived and we assembled it we wrapped it in the brown packing paper and restuffed it into its delivery box and wrapped that box. Nobody had any idea what it was even when tearing off the brown packing paper, it was a total surprise to the present opener. This is a picture of my one year old scooting around on it. We purchased matching ones for my one and two year old. My two year old is fairly tall (size of a 4 year old) and it has plenty of room for her to grow yet. She is able at two to understand how to maneuver the steering wheel to make it go. We bring these with us everywhere. Even though the weight limit is 109 pounds we have had a few unwarranted uses by larger individuals and the are still working just fine. I’m glad I spent more on the “original plasma car” than the wiggle knock off.
