When first pluged in, humidity dropped 55 to 45. Now the rod is cold.** A: Check the end of the plug to see if it contains a 5a fuse. If your model comes with a safety fuse and is cold to the touch I'm sure something made it blow it's fuse. **Q: Does this product emit ANY light??** A: It does not have a light. Simply a heating rod. **Q: I've got the 26 gun winchester ts-22-blk safe... says about 23 cubic feet... in uninsulated garage. 12" ok??** A: I am using 3 times as much in a similar size safe which is in my cellar (I live in NH). When I used an 18" bar, I got moisture on the wood.
