This group is a hard find in the USA. This is the most best collection of there's put together on one disc. The Australian band is bad. It's a must have for rock heads.

This offering from the Tatts covers the entire career of the band which means that you end up with a bit of the pap that Angry released post Pete Wells and Digger Royal.Don't get me wrong, this is a great introduction to the Tatts but if you want the genuine article start at the beginning with "Rose Tattoo" and work forward through "Assault & Battery" before stopping at "Scarred for Life."As for Guns & Roses, well they didn't like Australians telling them they'd always be just imitators... But they would say that, wouldn't they! Rock and Roll is King!

久方ぶりにローズ・タトゥーを聴きました。ガンズ＆ローゼズの影響で10代の頃に東京都内の輸入版専門店で当時リリースされていたCDを買って聴いていましたが、その当時は何だか泥臭い＆古臭い感じがして、たいして好きではありませんでした(スライド・ギターなんか好きでしたが・・・)。しかし、月日が大分経ってから何だか無性に聴きたくなり、ベスト盤CDを購入しました。いざ聴いてみると、これがなかなか良いんですよね。余計・余分な音がほとんどなく、何のギミックもないシンプルなブギー・ベースなハード・ロックンロールで聴き応えがありました。そして、意外とポップな感じの曲も多く、当時自分が聴いていた土臭いサウンドだけではないのだと、新たな発見がありました。自分のなかでは、ローズ・タトゥーというロック・バンドも、この間、亡くなってしまったチャック・ベリーの系譜・血脈の流れに存在するんじゃないかと勝手にに思ったりしています。
