**Q: Where can I buy the charger for this battery**
A: I bought a replacement charger from Radio Shack 10-15 years ago.

**Q: Can you use the official charger for these replacement batteries?**
A: Yes you can. I have a 20 year old Sanyo camcorder and the battery fit my camcorder and my charger perfectly..  Examine the pictures of the replacement  battery and compare it to your old one. The notches on the ends and the bottom should look the same as well as the Oval metal conntacts are on the bottom of the batteries. Incidentally the replacement battery has 2100mAh vs.my original NP-55 1000mAh. So you get twice the power in the same size battery. Make sure you charge the battery completely before you use it.
