Flooring materials are protected by the roller's smooth surface and rounded corners. All rollers float independently on the axle to compensate for subfloor inconsistencies. Review: Didn't have time to wait to find a used one, and renting seemed like a waste because we needed multiple days. Good deal especially since I got Prime 2-day shipping on this thing, works great for vinyl plank flooring, seems durable as the handle got bent during shipping but it still works great and the weld where top handle meets vertical pols is still strong.
