I would disagree. The vanila flavor and sweetness is spot on. The bag packaging is not great for me. I move the powder into an old container. The powder is very fine and will make a mess if you are not super careful. But I would still give this product 5 stars. Tasty and a great bedtime casein shake. I am pretty sure this product's ingredients are all made in USA, but that info is not very prominent, which I would think it should be if that is true. Review: Tastes good - Subtle vanilla taste and not too sweet. If you have texture issues this may not work for you. It thickens quickly and gets to a pudding/custard state if you take too long to drink it. I add water a bit at a time to finish the last of it. ## Features - Native Fuel Casein Protein - The least-processed vanilla bean casein protein available today, naturally higher in leucine for muscle synthesis. If you have texture issues this may not work for you. It thickens quickly and gets to a pudding/custard state if you take too long to drink it. I add water a bit at a time to finish the last of it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Makes great pudding! *by J***A on November 26, 2020* I really wanted to like this as a protein shake, but...it’s pretty gritty. Like vanilla flavored mud. However, it makes great pudding. I added coconut aminos and it was even better. Add frozen fruit, or yogurt, etc. you get the idea. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ascent Casein Protein Powder - 25g Micellar Casein Powder with Zero Artificial Flavors & Sweeteners, Gluten-Free, No Added Sugar, 4.9g BCAA, 2.2g Leucine - Vanilla Bean, 2 Pounds - Ascent 100% Whey Protein Powder - Post Workout Whey Protein Isolate, Zero Artificial Flavors & Sweeteners, Soy & Gluten Free, 5.5g BCAA, 2.6g Leucine, Essential Amino Acids, Vanilla Bean 2 lb - Ascent Clean Creatine Monohydrate Powder - 5G Per Serving, Creapure Creatine Supplement - Unflavored, 45 Servings --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.uy/products/40467070-casein-protein-powder-micellar-casein-isolate-vanilla-bean-2-lb](https://www.desertcart.uy/products/40467070-casein-protein-powder-micellar-casein-isolate-vanilla-bean-2-lb) --- *Product available on Desertcart Uruguay* *Store origin: UY* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
