The spices seemed very fresh. I was surprised to see that the item came directly from India. It came in a small box, which was packaged with great care - there were several pieces of Styrofoam, bubble wrap and tape around the box :) It was a bit funny, knowing that that the item within was really not that fragile. It took a little while for it to get here, but it was worth the wait.
