Artificial flavors and stevia etc really gross me out. I thought surely the plain ones would be vile because those artificial flavors are SO strong -- they must be covering something up? And yes, I read reviews about how impossible the plain ones are to choke down. Anyway, I was prepared... I mixed my first dose with a couple ounces each of lemon juice and ginger juice, then chased it with the recommended 10 oz water. It was fine and I didn't taste anything but juice. (I love lemon and ginger and could chug either one straight.) Today I tried it plain in water. Also fine. Yes there's a bitter flavor, but it's not too bad. Halfway through it got just a little unpleasant and I mixed in some lemon juice. That was perfect. What else can I say?
