The old alpine unit finally got a CD stuck in it after 17 years of use. Back then had all these seperate boxes, imprint, Bluetooth, xm, gps with I bet I shed 20lbs from boxes and wires. If you don’t buy a parking brake bypass then you can rig up a switch for parking brake to ground. Start it up flip the switch back and forth like PB set/reset. Worked great until my bypass came in. Now just a quick twist or push to Bluetooth knob and fire it up everything’s sync’s flawlessly. Kept the PDX600 and PDX1000 hooked up just a head unit upgrade and wow the sound is so much brighter. The 4v preouts must have gained some output. Back up camera is super clear now too.
