If you know how tricky it is to work with scotch tape, multiply that by 20. The product will stick to itself and be difficult to unstuck. Also you will need a cutting tool nearby to precisely cut it how you want. It is pretty difficult to work with for one person. **Q: Will the adhesive damage leather seats, especially on removal?** A: I'm not an expert so don't quote me on this but if you are using it on real leather, I don't think it will damage it if you slowly, carefully remove it. I'm not sure this would be adequate on leather. Your cutting skills and placement would have to be surgical to prevent the material from bunching up. I use this on the floor board of the vehicle and place my floor mats on top. That way it catches the dirt and debris the mats don't. It was extremely difficult to cut and place the material.
