This was for the cages to get a feel for wood vs metal. **Q: how much does it weigh** A: I order a decent amount of wood and metal bats. The BBCOR standard is made to mimic wood bats and almost all of them are -3 length-to-weight ratio. So if a weight isn’t listed, I usually just subtract 3 from the length and that will get you an approximate weight. So 33’’/30oz, 32’’/29oz, 31’’/28oz, etc. it’s not exact, but it works-ish. Keep in mind that this is an ash bat. If you start looking at maple, birch, mahogany bats, they are much more dense and the above rule doesn’t work.
