So didn’t really match the old latch plate. Was easy to chip out with a sharp chisel and steady hand. Did a dry fit first and trace around new latch plate where the jam needed to be cut. Easy Peazy. My favorite feature is how it keeps prying eyes from learning your code by allowing you to punch in up to 41 other numbers to disguise your code. It works as long as you punch your code in the proper order somewhere in that series. Which makes using a shorter passcode less risky. Can also have different codes for different people. There is an app for tracking but I generally do not use apps for things like this for personal security reasons. They’re quiet, easy to install, have had no issues operating and they get used a lot. They auto lock and have key code entry but they also have a back up key and charger port in case the batteries die.
