After several months of use, there are a few snags and some very small tears, but that is with 12-pound cats repeatedly climbing all the way up to the top of the screen. Considering that level of abuse, it has performed much better than I expected. It still looks decent and has stayed functional, which is more than I can say for the previous screen. For normal use, I think this would hold up very well. For a home with cats, it is not totally claw-proof, but it is much tougher than standard screen material in my experience.
