Sometimes it would go extremely slow making bulk laminating difficult. I turned it on for the first time today, waiting for the green light and inserted like normal. It kicked back out but had actually caught the laminating paper on FIRE making the whole office smell of burnt plastic and smoke. I unplugged it and put it outside. Will NOT be purchasing again! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Quirky *by J***L on March 6, 2024* I've been using only 3mil pouches, but the lamination speed varies with each pouch. Sometimes it's 9 seconds, sometimes it's 16 seconds per pouch. At 16 seconds the pouch starts melting. After every 12 pouches, it says to use the included cleaning sheet. This seems excessive. Also, this "cleaning sheet" is simply a thin piece of cardstock - nothing proprietary or special. There is a loud knocking noise when the rollers are running, which is cause for concern. The unit does heat up super fast.
