However to change their rechargeable batteries about once a month for multiple candles is up and down on a ladder. I suspect it has been "borrowed". I've had several pick up tools over the years and most are wimpy and can't hold a 1 pound object. These are stout and will work. Sensitive enough to pick up small sticks in the yard and trash that has blown in. Really handy when the dog decides something needs shredding and there are a number of small pieces to pick up.
