I disassembled the filter and it has a 1mm thickness which is thinner and lighter than the typical 2-3mm you would see with other brands. The coatings not only blow away the competition across the entire visible range for reflection elimination but they repel water amazingly well. When you clean the surface it doesn't streak like you may see on other non repelling coatings. The filter is about 2/3's the thickness of a standard filter (6mm total thickness vs 8mm standard, 3.5mm added thickness vs 5.5mm standard) so you can stack more without risking vignetting. The build quality is also extremely clean and professional. The label is very crisp and clear on the edge and is of high quality screen printing. The filter also came with a very nice impact resistant case that seems to be a lot more durable than other cases.
