These are great to use for teaching phonics - the names of letters and their sounds. The only problem with some of the objects is that they are not phonetically correct to match the sound e.g for “t”There is a train - but train is a “ch” sound, a telescope, tap or turtle would have been good, the “x” was a xylophone which is a tricky one as we teach the sound “x” at the end of the word “b-o-x” it’s nothing a problem as you can put in your own objects into the acorns if you wanted too. I love that they have the capital letter on the front and the small letter under the hat of the acorn.
