## Questions & Answers

**Q: If the game is released in july why is the plus pre order coming out in dec?**
A: GameStop in SC said July 26,2016 is when the plus will be available

**Q: Is always being connected to this device via Bluetooth going to murder my battery?**
A: It uses Bluetooth low energy which really shouldn't have all that much of an affect. I use a Pebble Time every day, which makes me always have my Bluetooth toggled on, and it really doesn't die substantially faster to the point where I find it too much.

Short answer, no, it won't 'murder' your battery, but it'll have a slight effect on it. (That is of course not taking into account whether this device will actively keep your phone's GPS tracking you. In that case, it might have quite an impact. We just don't know how this thing really works yet till it comes out)

**Q: How much is it?**
A: In reality $34.99, but thanks to those **** scalpers it's whatever crazy price they come up with.
Don't bother with this listing till the next official batch.
No-one should buy from those people, it just encourages them to continue.

You can also try gamestop, some might have a couple left in stock (that's what I'm planning to try to do this afternoon :)).

**Q: why is pokemon go plus priced so high**
A: This is a scam seller scalping people because the preorders are unavailable. That's why it's priced high. The real thing only costs 29.99-39.99.

A great tool for Go players who want to get ahead quickly

I've bought a Go Plus before (and lost it, SHAME!) but I wanted to buy another because:It really helps with the grind of catching basic pokemon to evolve and therefore level-up with a lucky egg. With the Go Plus, you only ever spend one pokeball on any wild encounter. You have to keep your eyes peeled for an indication of a pokemon you haven't encountered before (and if you've been playing since launch and up until 2nd Gen is released, that's highly unlikely) but it really means that you won't waste balls on basic pokemon.Playing without the Plus, there's always the temptation to throw a few extra balls at what are really very common pokemon like pidgeys and rattatas. You might even throw a couple of great balls at a meowth that you don't really need. But the Go Plus makes catching pokemon more efficient. One ball, one chance. And who's to say whatever pokemon you encountered might not have fled after your first ball anyway? At first it was thought the catch-rate with the Plus was 50:50 but I don't think that's the case. But either way, once you get to a certain stage in the game, perhaps looking to progress from level 20 to 30 in order to see pokemon at their peak level in the wild, then it's a big help. The biggest issue is potentially missing pokemon you really want. But whilst there were tracking apps/maps available it wasn't difficult to set your destination where you knew a pokemon you wanted had spawned, catch every basic pokemon in between, get out the game at the destination and spend real effort catching the pokemon more important to you. It's a bit different now with a lot of trackers and maps no longer available but the Plus is also still useful if you cycle or run as a hobby and want to catch pokemon or spin stops without fuss.In fact, sitting in a restaurant or near a stop is now more sociable again as there's no need to keep your phone primed, you can just tap the button in your pocket or on your wrist. It also saves some battery because you're effectively playing the game without your phone screen on.I can't wholly recommend the Plus because you might miss rare pokemon. But it has a few benefits and if you're trying to level up quickly, it's a great tool.

Not worth the current rip off prices but...

Ok, so I paid way over the odds for this but I WANTED it! So now that's been said I should say that this thing is really good if you're not too bothered about which Pokémon get away. I had a couple of decent ones get away but they were ones I already had so no biggie...for me, you may feel differently. I'd say the catch rate is about 50% but you're only losing one ball for all the Pokémon that get away so it's not all bad.I went for a walk around London and it was great to not be looking down the entire time and still be able to collect items from Pokéstops, catch some, but not all, Pokémon and best of all, track my distance all while the phone was in my pocket!!When I visited a nest and wanted to actually have a higher chance of catching the Pokémon, I then took my phone out and I was very happy to see how the battery had fared, another huge bonus. The Plus connects very quickly and seems to disconnect after maybe 30 minutes of inactivity. It flashes blue for Pokéstops and green for Pokémon with different vibrating patterns for each. It doesn't take long before you know what's happening without looking at the Plus. It also vibrates for each item you get from Pokéstops so you know how many items you've collected without looking too.All in all I'd recommend the Plus but I'd suggest only buying at retail price unless you're too impatient like me.

    Great little helper <3

*by P***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 April 2017*

I adore this little device :)I live in an area, where you don't want to hold your cellphone in your hand all the time, not only because it might fall and break but also because of the theft risk.So i thought id give this little thing a try..It arrived next day and i was pretty eager to get it working.Pairing it with your phone - You press the button on the PoGo+ and your Cell will instantly find it (if connected to bluetooth)Then you log into the game - settings - pokemon go plus - change your preferences ( you can make it vibrate on pokemon+stops or just one of em)Go back to the game and you will have the little pogo+ sign on the top right of you screen. Tap it and press the button of the pogo+ so the game will connect to it. If it lights up green, you are connected. If the sign in the game turns back grey, you will have to reconnect, it tends to lose connection after an hour or so.I also find that the cellphone battery saving mode, will disconnect you instantly, so you want to turn that off while hunting. The Hunt:When outside, i leave the game running in the background, with switched off screen and put my cellphone in my purse. The PoGo+ will vibrate and flash blue if you're in reach of a pokestop. Click the button and it will vibrate once for every item you get.If your bag is full, the PoGo+ will vibrate twice in a row and flash red, showing that something went wrong. When a known Pokemon appears the PoGo+ will vibrate and flash green. Tap it and it will attempt to catch the Pokemon. It will vibrate 3 times, simulating the shaking ball. Then It will vibrate quick 3 times flashing greenish if you caught the pokemon or two quick vibrates and red flash meaning the pokemon fled. !!!Heads Up!!! - The PoGo+ uses NORMAL Pokeballs ONLY. Therefor i recommend to use the other balls when you're playing manually. The flee chance is about 40% depending on the CP of the Pokemon. When an unknown Pokemon appears the PoGo+ will vibrate a bit quicker and flash yellow. Do Not click the button, if you want to catch it for sure. Log your game and use berries and a higher ball to catch it, due to PoGo+ flee rate. The PoGo+ is also WAY more accurate in counting the walked KM, which will benefit your hatching and candy collection. It also detects more pokemon than your cellphone, in a wider range and it works much better if you're a passenger in a car. Obviously the game wants you to walk, but when you're traveling, this device is pretty neat to collect stops and some pokemon on the way.I keep gaining more exp than without the pogo+, hatch eggs faster, collect candies faster and catch lot more pokemon than before. It also comes with a bracelet (which i never attached cause super ugly...) but you have to unscrew the back of the clipper in order to attach it to the bracelet.. Pretty unhandy if you ask me.Con: The bracelet is not very fashionable... like as a girl that like wearing shiny stuff, this isnt a piece id proudly present to others. Different colored cases or bracelets would definitely be nice to just make it more appealing.
