And did I say the colour is divine (I went for the blue teal) and is exactly as represented in the pictures which can so often mislead.

Very pleased with my choice, after deliberating for days across Amazon and eBay. This teapot is gorgeous - the finish is perfect, the shape is exactly as a teapot should be, it cleans really easily and it pours perfectly. I did read some negative reviews about the pouring so was a bit worried but went ahead with my purchase anyway, I've no idea what was wrong with their teapots but this one pours perfectly, no dribbles, slow or fast pouring. Thankfully the Teapot and Lid were well packed and padded when received, and all was well. It's a nice looking teapot and although looks a bit small, it does hold six tea cups as described. For me the handle is slightly too large but this is just my opinion. What lets the teapot down is that the hole for the lid is perfectly round and the lid has only one lip. this means that when tilted forwards for pouring, the lid could fall out. If the design was slightly changed this would be a 5 star product. Only time will tell if the pot lasts for years as did our previous teapot. Since using the teapot for a week, I found the lid to be perfectly stable when pouring with hot tea. The handle was fine and the size meant that it stayed cooler when hot tea made teapot very hot. Also I found the spout to pour perfectly so all in all I am very pleased with my new teapot and so had to give it a 5 star rating after all.
