Can be used with 'mSATA to SATA' as an SSD (Solid State Drive) or added to a 'PCI-E' card and mounted into a PC. These are great storage, at compact size. Review: Inexpensive route to OS bliss - Fits snugly into laptop mSATA slot on V3-772g laptop, did a clean install of Win10 to it, boots in a few seconds and does what you expect from an SSD. Haven't benchmarked, don't care, am at a usable desktop in moments and everything runs better for having OS on an SSD. Only niggle, is that it did not come with the fixing screws. Since 99% of mSATA applications will be in a laptop, this is extremely annoying, since many laptops will not already have an mSATA present from which to use the screws. Borrowed one from the HDD. Very easy to install; I then did a clean installation of Win 10 on top of it, and it's like having a brand-new computer... the XPS goes from cold to fully running and logged in in 15 seconds. Very fast, very responsive.
