STEP 2. Easily slide your hand under the Base Module and press &hold the power button for 6 seconds, until the "Left-Right" lights blink green, then release button. After a few seconds, all LEDs will turn green confirming the re-calibration. Water always finds it’s it level. Anything electronic is subject to “issues” at times. Having said that I’d like to say this product makes leveling a travel trailer considerably easier. It can now easily be done by one person. The range is sufficient to reach from inside the trailer to the cab of my truck. It takes 7 AAA alkaline batteries (not included) so be prepared before it arrives. The remote (provided you place the main unit in the direction stated on it) shows you what needs your attention. Simple lights show you what you need to know. It’s easy! If you have a trailer that sets up like a HiLo, Trail Manor, etc you know how important it is to be level before setting it up.
