Not because I don't like it, but because of the mill's quality. I have the C2 Chestnut, and with the exception of the handle and a washer inside, it's all metal. And it's heavy duty. The mill will hold about 1/4 cup (not rounded) of beans for grinding. It takes me 50 seconds to grind that amount of coffee, I'm not trying to set a speed record. However, I will then grind another 1/16 cup of beans to get enough grounds for 4 cups of coffee at the strength I prefer. All in all, I'm done grinding my beans in about 90 seconds. There is a setting at the bottom of the mill to adjust the grind size. The enclosed pamphlet suggest setting the mill to closed and then backing off a number of "clicks" (opening the mill more slightly with each click) to the desired grind. I find 18 to be the magic number for me. Of course, how large or fine you like your grind will determine the overall grinding time.
