I watched Tru-Tension’s short how-to video on YouTube to get the technique right, and despite being very out of practice (it’s been about five years since my last puncture), I removed and refitted the tyre in around two minutes; excluding taking the wheel off the bike. I also appreciate that it’s made from strong plastic rather than metal, so there’s no risk of damaging the wheel, tyre, or tube. It’s compact but feels chunky and sturdy in the hand. If I lost this tool, I’d replace it without hesitation. It’s now an essential part of my daily-commute kit.
