Review: Great PIR motion sensor with light sensor - I've had this up in my house for just over a year now. It's small enough to be discreet when placed in the corner of a ceiling and nice and easy to position with its moveable attachment to its base. I have this connected to home assistant via a sonoff zigbee dongle plus and ZHA. It integrated very quickly and has been working flawlessly since installation. The entities exposed are shown in the attached picture. I particularly like the fact that its got a built in light sensor which I use for a lot of my light automations to determine when its dark enough to require lights to turn on. The product description says that it has a 5 year battery life. Mine has been up for almost exactly 12 months and the battery is now reading 70% having started at 100%. Of note, it's in a very high traffic area of the house and looking through the past data, it went from 100% to 60% in the first 2 months. It's then mysteriously gone from 60% to 70% over the following 10 months....so who knows! Ordered two at the same time and the other one is at 100% so I am confident it's not a reading or metering error. I'm really worried that this is not going to have a five-year battery life, as in the product title.
