(from side to side)** A: whats the inside width **Q: Do the feet have padding on them or is it just an all plastic bottom?** A: They have rubber medallion shaped paddings under the legs so that the table is stable and doesn't move around on the surface it's on. Reading your question I just attempted to drag the table around the surface and is met with a surprising amount of resistance to being moved around and made absolutely no noise. I use it for an All-In-One computer which is heavier than a monitor and it is holding up wonderfully. It has ribs underneath and the plastic is fairly thick. Another help is that it is not as wide as the prior monitor shelf, thus it doesn't sag at all. This stand has two height levels, providing an elevation of 7 and 10 cm. I bought this stand to place my laptop in front of an external monitor such that the monitor's screen is visible behind the laptop's screen. However, the stand's most elevated position isn't enough to support this setup. In terms of build quality, the stand is sturdy and has decent looks. It is easy to assemble and has sufficient space underneath to put a few accessories like an external HDD/SSD. If you need to elevate your work laptop/monitor's height by 7 or 10 cm, then this stand isn't going to disappoint you.
