Hogue OverMolded Rubber Monogrip for S&W N Frame, Square Butt Revolver Grip, Black - 29000

I have a Mod 27 S&W and using the factory grips is at times uncomfortable when shooting. After installing this grip, my groupings were tight, consistent and recoil pressure felt was much easier on my hand.

Hogue a very trusted company makes very good accessories. I have been using these grips for years as they are super comfortable and really absorb recoil especially in high power calipers such as 357 mag and 44 mag. You can spend much more on other style grips and still not get the comfort level. I have used all of them wood ,G10 etc. I always resort back to the rubber mono grips . They are definitely worth your consideration especially if your someone who shoots a lot

Great grip and fit my model 28 perfectly

Makes my model 29 10 times easier to hold. Less fatigue on hands both in terms of recoil and managing the sheer weight of the big N frame I put it on. Fitment isn’t perfect down to the millimeter but I hope nobody buys these expecting them to fit like a custom grip. Only notice the small imperfections if you scrutinize over them. But if you’re that particular in appearances you probably don’t shoot the gun much anyway lol. 10/10 for me. This is my 3rd HOGUE grip and I will be back yet again.

Bought for a back country bear pistol. Originally purchased the wrong one (N Frame round when I needed SQUARE!) my own fault and dumb mistake. Because I bought the right one this time the install was much easier though still a bit....wonky. It's not hard just unconventional and really helps if you can place the pistol in a vice - not required but helpful. Don't be like me - pull your old grips off if you need to and confirm round versus square butt because I can tell you that no matter how much effort, tweaking, twisting, etc. the round WILL NOT fit over the square. :)

Fits check your frame for square or round

Much better fit and feel than the stock wood or Pachmayr grips. I find the fancy factory wood grips lacking for bowling pin shoots; nice to look at but not to use. I replaced them with Pachmayr SG-N decelerator grips. These were much nicer to grip than the factory wood. however, the grips were thinner than others and front to back were longer, at they cover the back strap. This long and narrow grip felt awkward to me. Also, the screw protrudes too far and I can feel it. Since I use Hogue grips on all my autos, I decided to give them a try. I love them. The shape fits my hand and feels comfortable and natural. This mono grip slips over the frame and attaches with a screw and adapter provided with the grip. the adapter slips over the revolver's mainspring roll pin. I highly recommend these grips.
