Review: Saved my Board - I’m happy with this purchase. My board started to get razor tailed but this has helped a lot to prolong the tail. I’ve installed it on a YOW La Jolla and it’s the perfect fit not ideal for smaller boards. Make sure you have a drill and screwdriver handy for installation and follow the instructions carefully.

**Q: do you have to drill through your skateboard all the way  to get this on  ????**
A: To mount it properly, yes you do.

Look for a review with pictures by Adam. That is the correct way to mount it. Drill through the board and use a countersink tool so the screw heads are slightly below the surface.

See the complaints that it came loose? They did it the wrong way.

**Q: What are the actual dimensions of this?**
A: They are 8 1/8 inches end-to-end, 1 1/4 inch side-to-side and 3/8 inch thick.

**Q: will this work on a 7.5 inch board**
A: Unfortunately, this is an 8 inch tail bone therefore it will be too large for a 7.5 inch board. This tail bone is primarily used for old school skateboards that range from 9 to 10.5 inches. Although, there are alternative tail guards that can be used on smaller boards or penny/nickel boards and there are some DIY methods as well.

**Q: Will this product  fit the  v2  boosted board?**
A: No. The V2 doesn't really have a nose or tail to wear down or attach this product to. I don't recommend buying this for a V2.

### ⭐⭐⭐ "Almost" fits on Powell-Peralta deck??

Got it for an old school setup, Guerrero deck Powell-Peralta. This barely fits and I would except Powell to either have different sizes (and shapes) or at least mention where does this fit best. Not a complete waste of money, but needs trimming which means time which I don't have.
