You can keep rewetting it and using it as long as it stays together and doesn't crumble apart. But if you do any kind of tough/forceful scrubbing, the sponge literally just crumbles apart immediately and tiny little pieces fall over the place. I was very disappointed with this item because of the way it falls apart. They DO clean things that are hard to clean, there's no doubt about that. But they just do not last and they are EXTREMELY messy to use. They fall apart so easily that they really need to go back to the drawing board on them.
