The safe itself is dependable; with a fast open and great features including tactile feedback for the buttons, proximity sensors will light up the keys when your hand hovers over them. Multiple ways to access the safe and so far all of them seem to be a reliable open. The remote will work up to about 5-6 feet away. My only minor gripe is that the light turns off a bit quickly after the safe pops open and there is no way to turn it back on or an option to extend its duration. Easy to program and operate.
