**Q: are these thermostats compatible with all hotpoint tumble dryers.many thanks in advance**
A: I think all hotpoint dryers use the same , if you have an instruction book it may tell you the 2 temps  if they are the same has the first4spares  then you will be sure.

**Q: I understand it matters which item you install in each position in the dryer. How do i know which is which? My factory fitted ones have a green dot 1.**
A: Only one of mine had failed. As I remember there’s one for each element, just happened to be the green dot one that failed, so only had to replace that one. Hope this helps. Good luck.

**Q: Would these thermostats be compatible with hotpoint tumble dryer model fetc70cpuk?**
A: I replaced the one shots 3 times but to be honest, I should have just bought a new tumble dryer. I have now.

**Q: What are the part numbers for these two components? I have a caravan heater which seems to use the same parts but I wanted to know the part numbers.**
A: Really sorry I can’t help, it was such a long time ago I have no record of PN.
I used them to repair a tumble dryer.

I have twice had to have these replaced as I can't afford to buy a new dryer just yet, luckily amazon and u tube helped save me, the cost of these to buying an actual dryer has been a lifesaver, the size fit exactly, quality and performance work as they should I'm just so greatful right now that it has just been these heat elements that have been going. Just hope they don't stop selling them because I'd be lost.

Best £4.99 spent this year as we were ready for buying a new tumble dryer, especially when callout charges are added up for repair. Got someone in the know to check and thermostat was gone. This came, was fitted in minutes and everything perfect. Hopefully another few years out of it
