I liked it so much I ordered myself a second one from Amazon and it just arrived - and the daisy wheel date stamp says it was manufactured in July 2022. There is advice all over the internet, including this seller's own website, which says don't use an old hot water bottle: "most reputable sellers would not hold very old stock" says the seller that just sent me old stock. Bear in mind that this seller advises to change HWBs every two years of use and to be careful about using an old one that has been stored. As HWBs go these are expensive, so they need to earn that extra cost.
