I will admit that the first shower I took after installing these types of beads was amazing. Before the beads, my skin felt weird after a shower. It was kind of tight feeling, and somewhat sticky, and just felt off, when I was done. That first shower with the filter beads actually allowed me to feel refreshed when I was done. That led to another concern was to wonder how long the beads would last for, and how would I know they needed to be replaced. Fast forward several long months later, and I discovered how to know when the beads needed replaced. Those old nasty feelings after a shower returned again. When I looked in the shower head, there still seemed to be beads in there, but on a whim, I went ahead and ordered these replacement beads. Mission successful! With these new beads in place, I once again felt clean after a shower. A great advantage of this kit was that it came with 2 packs of beads. It took 1 pack to fill my shower head again, so now I'm ready for the next time.
