Easy to put together and fairly easy to fit (although I did use to be an electrician). The main problem I had was finding a joist which I definitely recommend doing as the fan weighs a fair bit.A joist was found and the ceiling plate secured. And once connected it does a very good job of keeping us cool in the heatwave. It looks great and even on the fastest speed it's still very quiet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent fan *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 June 2026* Bought this last year when we were decorating. Dec all done now & the fan was fitted earlier this year. As we are in the midst of a heat wave at the moment it’s a good time to give a review. The fan is excellent, it’s powerful, really quiet, even on top speed, to looks lovely & works top notch. Easy to use with the remote control. Installation by my husband was quick & easy & we are so pleased with it. It’s in the kitchen, so we are spending time sitting at the kitchen table under the fan. I consider it excellent value for money ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FAN-TASTIC 8 Bananas *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 April 2026* 🌬Fan-Tastic.....🌀 best fan we have brought, works really well and very quiet, much quieter than a normal Stand/Desk fan, Air blowing from it is strong even on setting 1, Cant hardly hear it at night just a very gentle hum, quite relaxing really. The light is really good 3 colours, warm white, night white and day white, dims down nice and is super bright when turned up. One VERY good feature is, if there is a power cut at night the light does not come on when the power returns waking & blinding you in the night like our previous fan did. Only issue was I fell through the ceiling 🤕 when finding the beams as the flooring in the loft broke 🤭🤫( Dont Laugh ) flooring had rotted I fell like a sack of 🤔......potatos 🥔 Haha 🤣😂🤣 What a mess in the new bedroom, I now have a massive hole to fix, ( Wifes not happy at all 🤨) Kids thought it was hysterical 🤣 Apart from that getting the screews in when holding it up to the ceiling was very fiddly trying to keep wires out of the way at same time and continuously dropping the screews, thought my arms were going to fall off haha 🤣.Regardless of my fun putting it up, we rate this fan a solid 8 Bananas 🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌, Your Welcome A&D ## Frequently Bought Together - Newday Ceiling Fan with Lights, 30'' Small Modern Ceiling Fan with 5 Reversible Blades, Remote Controls, Adjustable Color Temperature for Indoor, White - reiga 132cm Bright White Smart Ceiling Fan with Dimmable LED Light Smart App WIFI Remote Control, Modern Blades Quiet Reversible DC Motor, 6-Speed, Timer - CJOY Ceiling Fans with Lights Brushed Nickel, 52'' Quiet Ceiling Fan Lights with Remote, Dimmable Tri-Color Temperatures, 5 Blades Reversible Winter and Summer for Bedroom --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.uy/products/523837214-newday-30-small-white-modern-ceiling-fan-with-remote-control](https://www.desertcart.uy/products/523837214-newday-30-small-white-modern-ceiling-fan-with-remote-control) --- *Product available on Desertcart Uruguay* *Store origin: UY* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
