Easier to work with when it is half set. If it dries out completely difficult to carve. We found heating it up again with a hairdryer softens it a little so you can work it again. **Q: Can it be used on MDF** A: I mix this will a bit of sand textured paste and apply it to bases that I have military figures glued to for a ground / rough earth effectThe MDF is typically 80mm x 60mm and I don’t suffer any warp - I couldn’t say whether bigger pieces of MDF would or wouldn’t warp. It is a fairly thick paste i.e. not too wet and it dries quite quickly, certainly within the day. **Q: Can I use it with my oil painting?** A: I use this straight on the canvas, let it dry and then apply paint. I've found that if I mix it with the paint the colour is not the same so I need to paint over anyway. **Q: Can this be used with resin?** A: I'm quite sure that you could buse it with resin.
