More comfortable & there's less smoke/vapor escaping. The water sound of a wet filter screen starts sooner. Remove the parts & let it dry overnight which seems to be working out. Size is more like the Smoke Trap original (not 2.0) so it's not as easy to hide if you need to do that. Haven't had to replace the filter yet. The cover screws onto the filter & then gets screwed onto the casing.
