This fits a large laptop, my lunch, 40oz coffee thermos, 40oz water thermos, charging cords, miscellaneous things I need to carry into the city. I'm carrying the same number of things as I did in my previous backpack which is also a Carhartt. But somehow this bag feels lighter. The shoe compartment was a tight fit but meshed seamlessly once it was zipped up, but I do carry a lot. Inside storage has tough nylon lining and compartments, pen holders, file holders, mesh zip-ups etc. And to top all that off it has aesthetic appeal. This bag is amazing! You won't regret buying one or two.
