We took them on a trip to Europe for 12 days and I was able to fit everything in the medium size suitcase and the carryon. They were not completely full and I still had too much stuff with me. But I guess it depends on people’s packing style. For me they are a great size. They have no damage and seem to be very sturdy. I love the purple because it’s not the bright purple but still easy to recognize when picking up from baggage. The only thing I don’t like is that they open up in the middle and therefore don’t fit on those baggage tables they have in hotels. But that is the case with all hard exterior luggage. It might to be good to consider that if you are changing from fabric luggage as they usually have a flap on top rather than opening it from the middle like a book. But that has nothing to do with the quality of this set.
