I don't have kids so I was concerned about how vibrant the colors would be--I needed this 16x20 campfire image they would draw on to be seen from quite a distance. I toyed with the idea of using acrylic pens--but they were too fine; wax crayons were too difficult for amateurs to get good results and then I found these NOYO Gel Crayons! Just from the description and reviews I knew these crayons could pull it off. The gel crayon colors are brilliant and clean--bright while all the way to deep black. I used watercolor paper for this campfire scene (which was 'pitted' rather than smooth--smooth would have been a better option) and the crayons went on like lipstick--very smooth, wide lines, filled in all the dimples; I thought the end result was terrific. Most class members wanted to know where I found the NOYO gel crayons.
