Timing races it's helpful to be able to go back and see the data without having to stop it entirely. The watch feels sturdy, and I expect I will get many years of use from it. This watch was really good period, but fantastic for the price point.

A: It can recall last 500 lap time.  No average time.

**Q: Does this watch beep when the buttons are pressed if so can the beep be turned off.**
A: mine does not beep.

**Q: What size Voltage battery**
A: It would be the CR2032 - circular flat battery

**Q: does it have a countdown mode?**
A: No.  Only works on lapsed time with display in different modes.
