Mag Lite LED Upgrade Module LED Upgrade Bulb 286Lumen 2D 2C Cell 3V Maglite Torch Flashlights

I'd had this Maglite for 25 years, didn't use it much as the light was so dim but now it's so bright, brilliant.

Needed an upgrade from the original incandescent bulb so tried the official Maglite Xenon bulb first which was no different really so waste of £7, took a punt on this at slightly higher price and i am not disappointed, very bright, white light, wide angle and focus beam function as normal. Fits my 2D Maglite holder perfectly so no fitment issues. Longevity will have to wait obviously but right now it's given my 15 year old torch a new lease of life so very happy.

Fair price, brought my old Maglite into the 21st century! Recommended.

The Mag-Lite 2C-cell torch is a lovely thing, which feels solid and balanced in the hand, and I've had one for years. However the standard old-fashioned light bulb in it gives about the same illumination as the candles on a birthday cake. Swapping that bulb out with this LED upgrade doubles the light level, makes the beam a clear daylight white, and improves the beam focusing. However the light intensity falls far short of what you'd get from a new purpose built LED torch, and you could buy one of those for less than the price of this upgrade. Still, this module gives the Mag-Lite a new lease of life.

Superior bulb for a very easy upgrade to a maglite. I tried a led bulb with higher lumens from a different supplier and it is far less brighter than this one.

Was going to chuck out an old Maglite as its output was hopeless compared to modern torches. Fortunately I bought an LED bulb for instead. Result - it’s better than a more recently purchased LED torch. If you’ve got an old Maglite, buy one of these and give it a new lease of life.

I’ve always been disappointed with th3 output of Maglites. Now I’ve got a big heavy torch that I can actually see with.

It improve the brightness of Maglite torches greatly. However, they are not long lasting. This is the third one I’ve bought in four years.

Avevo riposto la Maglite per due problemi: il primo consisteva del fatto che le batterie se non utilizzate dopo un po' diventavano inutilizzabili; per affrontare questo aspetto ho acquistato degli adattatori, sempre qui su Amazon, che consentono di montare delle batterie AA delle quali dispongo in quantità. Ogni adattatore ne contiene 3 e quindi ho anche aumentato la durata sebbene la tensione si fosse leggermente abbassata. Ecco che l'upgrade a led mi è venuto in aiuto a risolvere il secondo problema: mentre con la lampadina originale era visibile il leggero abbassamento di tensione, con questa a led ho compensato, anzi, migliorato decisamente il rendimento della torcia. Ma considerato il valore della Maglite, e la sua indubbia qualità come fattura generale, lo si può prendere in considerazione invece che acquistare una torcia nuova.

I bought this LED Module to replace the normal, incandescent, bulb in my 2D MagLite. The difference between the two bulbs, with the same batteries, is like night and day. The incandescent bulb was dim at best, and the LED is bright and white in comparison. Well worth the investment! And cheaper than buying a new LED MagLite!!
