Just received this product - August 2019. No mention of ORGANIC on packaging. Since seller ignores claims from 2018, this appears to be a case of cheeky - ney false - advertising for an overpriced NON-ORGANIC product. **Q: How can these be "superior to organic"?** A: If you are a sincere organic believer nothing is superior to organic. The price was reasonable on this brand but the quality is only medium. ( Some very good and others somewhat stale) **Q: Are these nuts pasteurized, and do they really contain selenium?** A: I don’t know if these are pasteurized, but I don’t believe that nut pasteurization is required by law. All Brazil nuts naturally contain selenium, so these would too. They’re very fresh and delicious, by the way! **Q: Are these lectin free? i follow the dr. gundry diet and am feeling better each day!** A: Brazil nuts are allowed on a lectin-free diet. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Flavor and overall quality. *by R***. on September 15, 2026* Product was fresh and crisp. I'll definitely be reordering! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great nuts to get your daily intake of selenium. *by L***Y on September 7, 2026* These were especially fresh and delicious. I had issues with previous nuts of this kind tasting rancid like they were old and outdated. These ones were delicious. They are good value for cost. Their nutrition is great as I only need 2 a day and husband needs 4 a day to give us all we need of selenium for a day. Easy way to take this needed mineral. They are not too roasted yet enough to satisfy the ‘crunch’ we like, without worry of breaking any teeth. ## Frequently Bought Together - NUT CRAVINGS - Raw Brazil Nuts, Unsalted, No Shell, Whole, (32oz - 2 LB) Bulk Nuts Packed Fresh in Resealable Bag - Kosher Healthy Snack, Natural Keto Vegan - Amazon Brand - Happy Belly California Walnuts Halves and Pieces, 40 ounce --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.uy/products/57314237-raw-brazil-nuts-32oz-2-lb-unsalted-no-shell-whole](https://www.desertcart.uy/products/57314237-raw-brazil-nuts-32oz-2-lb-unsalted-no-shell-whole) --- *Product available on Desertcart Uruguay* *Store origin: UY* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
