Love the loud crack you get when you land a clean shot on the bag! You really do notice missed punches more with these gloves which is really nice for teaching yourself how to land cleaner more consistently. The thumb is kind of tight but not really bothersome, and I'm sure after another few sessions it will get better ( only have about 2 hours in the gloves). Love the wrist strap system, I wear 1-2 wraps and my hand/wrist feels so solid! Very well made and good looking gloves. I ordered the XL because I have large hands and they fit perfectly and snug without being too tight. They didn't need much breaking in and are well padded. I have had already received several compliments on how nice they look. I had ordered a different brand and could not even get them around my wrists.
