They were on sale for the holiday and I can't say if they're REAL Levis or not if you know what i mean but the material is stiff and the quality overall for the price of just under 25 bucks is great. I got a 32 (i wanted a larger size but they weren't in stock) and it fits SNUG but FITS straight out of the package without breakin time. The 32 on the size chart equates to a size 14. Normally i am currently a size 12 so it IS a size UP technically. I also bought some womens 501 curvy and those are wonderful (i got a 33 in those which are a curvier cut, skimming and a bit loose) This model is definitely more snug I think they'll break in well Some of the stitching is rough on my skin which is not what i'm used to. Also hoping this will soften in the wash. Overall a good buy and a good snug fit with the classic 501 button up. I wear an 8 or 29W on all my jeans like Loft, Old Navy, Democracy, etc and yet I had to go up 2 sizes to find the perfect fit.
