This container does come with the lid though. **Q: My container seems to have a very loose fitting lid and when blending hot food, like soup, it would pop off which is quite dangerous. Is it faulty?** A: Hi., no all lids are kinda loose. But when blending hot food, take the little plastic cap off and place a towel over the opening to prevent splashing.
