AirRam MK1 K9 Battery, Fits Model AR02 & AR09 Only CHECK THAT THE BATTERY IS CHARGED We know it sounds silly, but it’s always worth double checking that your vacuum is actually charged! If the charge indicator on the front of the lower handle has 1 flashing red light or 4 looping red lights, charge the battery for the full 4 hours. Plug the charger into the charging port on the back of the battery before plugging it into the mains. The battery can be charged on or off the machine. As the battery charges, the LEDs on the handle will light up green in turn. Once fully charged, 4 green solid lights will show on the handle display. IF THE BATTERY IS SHOWING 4 SOLID RED LIGHTS, THE BRUSH-BARS MAY HAVE JAMMED Unplug your AirRam MK1 K9 from the mains and remove the battery. If the charge indicator on the handle is showing 4 solid red lights, the brush-bars may have jammed and your vacuum will automatically cut out. Lay the vacuum on its back and remove any jams or trapped debris. Use a screwdriver to remove the 4 end cap screws either side of the brush-bars. Remove each of the end caps from the side of the main body and pull the brush-bars out of their housings. Use scissors to get rid of any hair/ thread that has caught around the brush-bars and brush-bar spindles, which are located in the middle of the brush-bar housing. Also check for any damage to the ends of the brush bars. To refit, line each brush-bar up and onto their spindle, ensuring the end caps are correctly fitted and balanced. Tighten the 4 screws around the main body – the 2 longer screws fit into the holes towards the back of the vacuum. The battery-housing should be clear so that you can place the battery back down in the battery-housing. When fitted correctly, the battery will click and secure into place. - MAKE SURE THE CHARGER IS UNPLUGGED Your AirRam MK1 K9 won’t work if the charger is still plugged into the mains. Unplug the charger from the mains and the vacuum and try again. - CHECK THE BATTERY LIGHTS 1 solid red light or 4 red lights looping for 10 seconds The battery needs to be charged. - 1 flashing green light, then no lights There is an issue with the charger. Remove the charger and check for damage to the charger and charging hole on the battery. If there are no signs of damage, refit the charger and try again.
