Review: Hacking it - Item is great when doing restricted work, such as cutting olives from pipework where a conventional junior hacksaw wouldn't provide the necessary space. Blades are your typical and widely available full size hacksaw blades which provide better cutting power than the usual junior blades. Quality tool for a quality job.

A pipe in a wall was mounted on brackets with recessed screws that had rusted and I need to cut behind the bracket to get them off. Traditional hacksaw could not get behind but this great tool was just the trick. since the blade protrudes from the front I was able to insert the blade behind and saw through the rusted screw. Really great for getting behind things. Well made and solid. Generally I've had a good experience with Stanley and this was the same again. Worth the money.

Item is great when doing restricted work, such as cutting olives from pipework where a conventional junior hacksaw wouldn't provide the necessary space. Blades are your typical and widely available full size hacksaw blades which provide better cutting power than the usual junior blades. Quality tool for a quality job.

Traditional hacksaw could not get behind but this great tool was just the trick. since the blade protrudes from the front I was able to insert the blade behind and saw through the rusted screw. Really great for getting behind things. Well made and solid. Generally I've had a good experience with Stanley and this was the same again. Worth the money.
